DAY 1: Arrive in Rome, private transfer to Perugia. Check in at your hotel. Welcome dinner.
DAY 2: Enjoy an escorted tour of Perugia, a wonderful city steeped in history. It dates back to the Etruscan period and is a well-known artistic centre of Italy. Home of beautiful churches like the Cathedral and S. Lorenzo or the Basilica of the Domenician Order, Medieval fountains, Etruscan arches and ancient viaducts. Enjoy lunch in a typical restaurant in the centre of the city. In the afternoon visit the “Casa del Cioccolato® Perugina®”, an unique place where every chocolate-lover will live an unforgettable experience. Your travel start with the visit of the Perugina’s museum, 2nd business museum of the Italy, where the centenarian chocolatiers passion is proved. Proceed with a chocolate tasting and the visit of the industry and the laboratory. The most sweet-tootheds could appreciate a cooking class at the Scuola del Cioccolato®.
DAY 3: Escorted half-daily tour of Assisi, a delightful medieval town symbol of peace which identifies itself with one of the most beloved and revered saints in the world, St. Francis of Assisi. Start the tour with the visit of the Basilica of St. Francis, built in the XIII century established by two parts, the Lower Church and the Upper Church. Finish the tour in Piazza S. Chiara, overlooked by the Basilica of St. Clare. After the free lunch move to Montefalco for a wine tasting of the homonym wine.
DAY 4: Daily Spa at The Ancient Baths of Triponzo. It is the only spa complex in Umbria supplied with sulphurous water rich of calcium that, regardless of the season, keeps its temperature constantly at 30 degrees, with considerable features and therapeutic qualities. Therms are entirely immersed in the Umbrian green wood: 18 sources of sulphurous thermal water, emerald green in colour, flow out in this place.
DAY 5: Start the transfer to Marche Region, on the way stop to visit a ancient “frantoio” to discover the history and a tasting of the worldwide known italian olive oil, Olio Extra Vergine D’Oliva. Enjoy a typical italian lunch tasting local regional products. Continuing the trip, stop in the province of Macerata for a wine tasting of the “vino cotto”, an ancient and typical marchigian product. Arrive in Ancona and check in.
DAY 6: Guided daily tour of the Ancona’s beauties starting from the Cathedral of San Ciriaco, a pleasant mix of Romanesque, Gothic and Byzantine style, and ending with the visit of the Riviera del Conero, paradisiac beaches with an unforgettable turquese sea.
DAY 7: Start the transfer to San Marino, stopping in Urbino for a escurtion. Urbino is a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized for its Renaissance art and architecture. Enter the stately Palazzo Ducale, where masterworks by Raphael and Titian are on display. Arrive in San Marino and check in at your hotel.
DAY 8: The fifth-smallest and arguably the most intriguing of the world’s independent countries, the ancient republic of San Marino, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, sits high in Italy’s Central Apennines Mountains. With a personal guide, stroll around the cobbled center to see Piazza della Libertà square, the Basilica of St. Marino, and other highlights as you uncover their history, discovering also the typical productions of this republic (like honey, cheeses and wines).
DAY 9: Private transfer to Bologna Airport, departure.
