LAKES TRAIL: COMO AND GARDA

LAKE COMO

Day 1: Arrival at Milano Malpensa Airport and check in at Hilton Lake Como.

Day 2: Play Golf at Monticello Golf Club. The Monticello Golf Club, located in Lombardy in the wonderful Lake Como district, was founded in 1974 on about 140 hectares and has two, 18-holes courses. The course is beautiful-broad fairways in a flat plain surrounded by high mountains.

Visit Villa Carlotta, a fabulous residence with magnificent gardens located in a panoramic position overlooking Lake Como, Bellagio and the Grigna mountain.
The Villa welcomes the visitors with its magnificent botanic garden and art masterpieces in over 70.000 square metres of gardens and Museum.

Day 3: Play Golf at Villa D’Este GC. The Club lies beyond the wonderful lake of Montorfano in a splendid setting in the sunny Brianza. The course was designed in 1926 by Peter Gannon. It is considered one of the most varied and difficult of the European “par 69” course.

In the afternoon discover the City of Como enjoying walking among beautiful gardens reaching the Centre. You can also visit Villa Olmo, an imposing Italian classical style residence built in 1780. Its located just a few minutes walking from the Hotel.

Day 4: Sightseeing Lake Como Boat Tour with local guide introducing the unique attractions of the surrounding. Visit Varenna and Bellaggio.

Day 5: Check out and travel to Lake Garda. On the way enjoy a Wine Tasting Tour along the wine routes of Valpolicella and Franciacorta on the picturesque hills round Lake Garda, both worldwide known for the quality of their wines.

Day 5: Check in at Villa della Torre.

Day 6: Play at Garda Golf Club 27 Holes Championship Course over 110 hectares. Experts consider the Garda Golf Country Club one of the best golf courses built over the last decades.

Day 7: Play at Arzaga Golf Club. 9 holes Jack Nicklaus course + 9 holes Gary Player Course. The two world-famous names designed the course with two very different styles: Jack Nicklaus Junior followed his father’s use of spectacular features, requiring a great deal of work, for an American type of course, whilst Gary Player designed an English-style course with far fewer changes to nature.

Day 8: Play at Franciacorta Golf Club. Embedded in a former viticultural reserve surrounded by small lakes, creeks and old farms, golfing here becomes an experience of nature. The 27-hole golf course offers excellent playing conditions.

Day 9: Check out- Say “Arrivederci!” Departure from Bergamo Airport or transfer to Malpensa Milan Airport.
