Udine Golf Club

Located in the charming village of Fagagna—named one of the most beautiful in Italy—Golf Club Udine combines the thrill of golf with the tranquility of nature. Just a short drive from San Daniele (famous for its prosciutto) and Udine, the course lies at the foot of the Carnic Alps, surrounded by ancient oak and beech trees across 73 hectares of rolling moraine hills.

Founded in 1970 and expanded to 18 holes by architect Marco Croze in 1995, the course was completely redesigned in 2014 by agronomist Fulvio Bani. It now features a Par 72 layout stretching over 6,300 meters, offering a technically challenging yet enjoyable game for golfers of all levels. GEO and “Committed to Green” certified, the club has hosted the European Senior Tour since 2016.

Each hole is integrated into the natural contours of the land and framed by native trees, with scenic views and strategic water hazards—most notably the 15th hole, with a lake guarding the green. The 18th hole, a demanding uphill par 4, is a recent addition that concludes the round with a challenge.

The club also boasts a modern double-ended driving range, a Swing Studio, and three scenic nature trails available to guests of the adjacent Villaverde wellness resort. Whether you’re here to compete or relax, Golf Club Udine is an ideal destination to enjoy the best of golf and Italian hospitality.
