Designed in 1990 by architect Marco Croze, the course winds through the romantic 19th-century park of Villa Papafava, a vast 200-hectare estate conceived by the renowned Venetian architect Giuseppe Jappelli. Since 2014, Golf Frassanelle has undergone thoughtful ecological updates, enhancing the course’s playability and environmental footprint. Fairways and tees were transitioned to Bermudagrass (Cynodon dactylon x transvaalensis cv. Patriot), a drought-resistant turf that requires less water, fertilizer, and no chemical treatments—benefiting both the game and the environment.

The clubhouse, housed in a beautifully restored 17th-century farmhouse, offers a warm welcome with refined interiors inspired by traditional Anglo-Saxon golf culture. Guests will find a full-service experience, with a bar, restaurant, pro-shop, sauna, massage area, swimming pool, and solarium—all designed to provide total comfort and relaxation.
