Tucked between the rolling hills of Valtenesi and the shimmering shores of Lake Garda, GardaGolf Country Club is a jewel of Italian golf. Founded in 1986, it has become one of the country’s most iconic clubs, having hosted three editions of the Italian Open (1997, 2003, and 2018). With 27 championship holes carved through a stunning natural landscape, this course blends challenge and beauty in perfect harmony.
The course was designed by the British studio Cotton, Pennick, Steel & Partners, together with Golf & Gardens, and stretches over 110 hectares of lush terrain. The three courses—White, Red, and Yellow—wind through olive groves, ancient oaks, and cypress trees, offering not only technical variety but also extraordinary views of the Rocca di Manerba, Soiano Castle, and surrounding vineyards. Though it may be tempting to pause and admire the panorama, each hole demands your full attention.
Born from the vision of Riccardo Pisa and Giorgio Simonini, who transformed former agricultural lands into a destination of excellence, GardaGolf has always been rooted in the idea of merging sport with landscape. The addition of the Yellow course in 1990, near the historic Tenuta Le Posteghe, further enriched the experience, adding new perspectives and challenges.
Today, GardaGolf is more than a course—it’s a lifestyle. The elegant Club House, housed in a noble villa, is the heart of the club. Here, members and guests enjoy a refined, timeless atmosphere with exclusive lounges, panoramic terraces, and a restaurant that celebrates the best of Italian cuisine.
If you’re looking to sharpen your swing, enjoy a peaceful getaway and simply admire the beauty of the Garda landscape, GardaGolf Country Club offers an unforgettable experience where tradition, technique, and hospitality come together.
