Circolo Golf Torino La Mandria

///Circolo Golf Torino La Mandria

Set in what was once the Savoy family’s private hunting reserve and now one of the Po Valley’s most enchanting lowland forests, Torino La Mandria Golf Club feels like stepping into the British countryside—just minutes from the Baroque grandeur of the Reggia di Venaria. Founded in 1920 and reborn in 1956 under the expert hand of British architect John Morrison, the Club’s original 18-hole course introduced a true links-style spirit to northern Italy. Over time, visionaries from Studio Harris and architects Marco Croze and Graham Cooke expanded the layout to 27 and then 36 holes, now presented as the Blue and Yellow Courses.

Every fairway here is framed by centuries-old oaks, beech, and hornbeam, and the absence of roads or urban distractions lets you lose yourself fully in the game. Legends Edoardo and Francesco Molinari—products of La Mandria’s own Juvenile Program—have proudly carried its banner to Ryder Cup and World Cup victories, echoing the Club’s motto of nurturing champions.

After your round, the late-’50s clubhouse by Attilio Berardi offers panoramic views over the Blue Course from its sunlit terrace. Come inside to admire Piero Verbinschak’s 20th-century artworks, enjoy a local wine at the bar, or unwind with friends in the TV lounge, billiard room, or on the patio. The adjacent Cascina Risera houses the Pro Shop, youth lounge, and fitness area—making La Mandria not just a course, but a complete sanctuary where sport, history, and nature converge.
