Villa Condulmer Golf Club

///Villa Condulmer Golf Club

Set within the lush park of a 17th-century Venetian villa, Golf Club Villa Condulmer is a timeless destination that blends the nobility of Italian heritage with the refined pleasure of the game. Founded in 1960 and named after the historic villa that still stands majestically on the grounds, the Club offers an experience that transcends sport, inviting guests into a world where tradition and sophistication reign.

The estate’s origins trace back to the late 1600s, when the Condulmer family built the villa on the ruins of a 14th-century Benedictine monastery. Over the centuries, the residence passed through the hands of prestigious families, including the Graz and Tornielli, and famously welcomed composer Giuseppe Verdi—who composed part of La Traviata on the piano still housed inside the villa.

The Club’s first nine holes, designed by the renowned John Harris, wind gracefully through the villa’s historic parkland, where ancient trees and architectural relics—like the original entrance gate—still stand, offering a game rich in atmosphere. The back nine, designed by Marco Croze, adds distance and challenge, with wider spaces and modern contours. Together, the 18 holes form a seamless blend of elegance, variety, and technical precision.

In recent years, the Championship Course has been completely renovated, now boasting Bermuda Grass turf for perfect playability year-round. This renewal, combined with the exceptional services of the adjacent hotel and a restaurant with a panoramic terrace, has brought the Club back into the spotlight of national golf circuits and prestigious sponsors.

Golf Club Villa Condulmer is more than a course—it’s an experience rooted in Italian art, culture, and excellence. Whether you’re following in the footsteps of history or crafting your own unforgettable round, this is a place where every detail speaks of style and tradition.
